Mad World (Border Post)
Beck was quiet, the wind blowing the scents of spring to him. It was finally spring, winter was not fun for him. Winter usually cramped his style, making him stay cooped up. Even though the cold didn’t bother him much, he still hated it. It had been a long search, and today was the day he approached the pack that had caught his attention. It was a beautiful day, the air was warm and had a floral scent. Today the sun was high in the air, making the trees give up shapes and patterns on the forest floor. Beck was wearing a tight white t-shirt that accented his tan skin, and black jeans. He was barefoot, and was able to feel the warm blades of grass under his feet. He moved forward through the grass, the blades grabbing onto his jeans as he walked. He stopped once in a small clearing, and took in a deep breath. He could smell everything, and it all smelled heavenly, but he would never admit that outloud. Walking towards one of the larger trees in the clearing, he touched the rough bark, feeling it under his palm. He sighed softly and pulled away from the tree and breathed in the scent of the border once more. This was a grand time to finally meet the wolves of Caedesque. “Caedesque” He said out loud the word rolling off his tongue, with an accent to boot. He let out a breath and wandered forward a bit, looking at the enclosed area that the border held. Oh, how tempting it was to just...step over and see the world before him. It would also be quite a show to meet who ever held the fiery enough temper to hold a spark to his own. A smirk settled on his chiseled handsome features as he stepped up to the border, his bare feet being tickled by the long blades of grass.
As he stood at the border, he began to hum a tune that his mother once sang to him. It was quite a sad song but he enjoyed it. After humming for a few moments began to sing the song note for note. “All around me are familiar faces...worn out places, worn out faces.” His voice came out soft a first before becoming a little louder. “Bright early for their daily races, going no where...going no where” His voice dragged out the notes that needed to be dragged, as he continued the song. “Their tears filling up their glasses, no expression...no expression.” “Hide my head i want to drown my sorrow..no tomorrow..no tomorrow…” His voice had become soft again as he sang, watching the trees around him as he sang. “And I find kind of funny,I find kind of sad..the dreams in which i’m dying, are the best Ive ever had.” “I find hard to tell you i find it hard to take, when people run in circles..it’s a very very...Mad world..” As sang, mad world, his voice died out. That of course was not the full song, but he enjoyed those notes as they rolled off his tongue. Breathing out, he glanced around again, his bright eyes flicking around the area. When would someone greet him? Would he have to shift and howl? Or would someone be patrolling soon? These questions would probably be answered soon enough, letting out a breath he looked at his tattoos remembering each one as he looked at them. Peeling off his shirt, he stuffed the end of it into a nap sack and smirked. He walked over to one of the trees that held a sunny spot and sat down to wait, his chest rising and falling as he breathed slow.

Re: Mad World (Border Post)
- Sorry for the long wait, school is a bitch.
Nature’s pipe player crawled effortlessly forward in the attempt to play its bittersweet sorrow-filled tones to mask control upon the sleeping, yet undeniably beautiful serpent awaiting behind the darkness to its caverns. Its purpose was to pry the creature to awaken and rise from its quarters, to which would then bring a sense of life and mystery to them all to which were beneath the sly reptilian silhouette stirring before thee. It called and called as best it could, brushing its branches to the clear panel of a window, animals scratching and chirping for utmost attention, the ground rumbling - all because they beckoned a higher presence to reign forth and provide spite that it is light which causes darkness to follow. And to what gave nature such the delight, the force they so summoned was that of a great and punishable evil. The serpent stirred some more and more as the wind picked up and the trees began to sway at its free will, to alas stretch the lids of the creature wide open and illuminate the small patch of shadows surrounding one’s two hues of an unnatural glowing green. She hissed at the source of light shining through passed the dark drapery standing above her bedside window, glaring at it was if it were the sin of all evil to ever possess the earth, but managed to snake away from its wake and remain as best she could in the shadows of her beloved room as she moved about till her orbs had readjusted to the astounding arrival of a season she so despised - spring. It had come so fast and so soon, and all the animals were out to play, the only benefit from this was warmer nights and softer soil to feel beneath her claws as she darted after newly found prey. For for now, all the sly woman could do was inch through her quarters and fasten an outfit on as best she could without looking to the sun's light just yet. She fixed her hair, which had carelessly grown even longer down her torso with the refusal to be cut over the past wintery months. Still, the queen would bestow a new look after the abandonment of her other half and move on as she always had over time, both with Axel, and now Daiken - now she would prove a new life amongst herself and her pack more importantly. Those she so hated had now left, leaving her with a new start to something even greater, and hopefully a new generation for Caedesque alas.
As she made way through the castle halls, her hand smoothed gently over the marveling soft material to her attire, admiring it slightly before quickly dismissing it as just another piece of clothing she threw on from time to time. Perhaps it was not the royal apparel that other so thought she may strike as wearing, but with this, she was able to roam freely without question and blend easily into crowds of others. T'was not easy, being what they were, she would need all the help she could get by her independent self if she truly wished to keep their species under-wept from the human society. She never cared to form well to society's antics, nor much cared for what the sought to find in her carnivorous appetite despite her large amount of control to what she didn't care to use unless in dire necessity. At first escape, she was lead to the decision of shifting forms and taking complete awareness of her wolven flesh as it slowly molded her womanly feminine features to that of an eleven foot obsidian colored wolf. She stretched her long legs and awaited the sound and familiarity of smell to register through her sense of hearing and smell. Though without her ears and nose, as Alphess of these lands, it was almost instinctive of an alpha wolf to detect a new presence near to their lands. It was a feeling of an itch, or some have said to be a tingling of the spine - but to her, it was a bad taste in her mouth to what notified her as to this foreign source of life. Her muzzle bent towards the ground as she slowed to a halt to the center of the woods, sniffing the fresh, spring dirt and lifting her head to look around herself, ears turning swiftly back and forth as nature above soon filled them. Tail flickering, it slowly raised to press against her lower spine, and within the blink of an eye, she was off again, trudging loudly on large paws through the land with the great purpose to scare to whom awaited her higher presence. She ran at incredible speeds, higher than the average wolf or perhaps werewolf if put to the extreme test, only to be recognized as a black bullet sweeping passed trees as tall as her and rocks as tall as to her hip. A growl rippled out her throat as the image of a blurred man came clearer and more focused in her side view nearest to a standing tree's trunk, zipping forwards in second tops before she came within inches of the man's face with her large, wolven cranium head close to his. Blood stained teeth as sharp razors stayed aloft yet clenched tight together as she curled her lip to snarl, haunches raised and fur ruffled - eyes a supernatural and evil color as they stared at him long enough as she attempted to pry fear from the male in any way, shape or form. "Who're you and what is your purpose, foreigner?" The typical staged and overused question bitterly spat from her lips at him, her voice dipped with both dominance and rage as its velvety tones washed from her throat to his ears.
She removed herself slowly by only a few pawsteps back, remaining true to her side of the bargain and resting her feet on Caedesque territory, just behind the dividing line where he could not so pass just yet. Noctavia held no acknowledgement for his looks, despite she believing he was quite handsome and fair with the tattoos he so wore, but left no recognition through the expression she so effortlessly played upon her face - nothing. To that extent of easily found control, the Alphess relaxed and shifted back into her human state, her fur phasing to that of long flowing black locks and a face of pale complexion and beautiful, somewhat normal, green serpent hues. The color in her cheeks made her appear alive, though most of her was stiff and formed, pale like a fresh corpse that was slowly decaying from the inside out. She ironically defined an undead radiance in the season of life.
"I am Alphess Noctavia-" the woman bellowed behind a mask of no emotion, "-if you so wish to enter my lands, prove to me with words to what we, Caedesque, may benefit from your presence?"

Re: Mad World (Border Post)
-Sorry hon, work has been slowly sucking the life out of me. Only time i get to post is weekends. I am also sorry this is so short compared to your lovely post. I absolutely loved it. <3
The spring time brought forth many things, pups, animals, people..and well even raising the dead. Beck was relaxing, and he did know what to expect. He knew that any wolf worth their salt was territorial. He was himself, and if a wolf was the leader of the land, they were more so than any. Beck still had his eyes closed, but a smirk slowly curled the ends of his lips as he heard and felt the rumbling of the ground under him. Flicking his golden dark brown eyes open, he continued to feel the rumbling. In spite of it, he remained still, sitting back relaxed. The only movement he made was to move his tattooed arms across his chest, and tip his head to the side. He had been around many werewolves in his time of living, and since he knew that the alphess of Caedesque had lived longer than most, she would have more beauty and more dominance than any male or female wolf. Although, not even the stories and words that described any of Caedesque could actually beat the fact that he was there in the flesh. There was no fear in him, he had been alive to long to let something silly as fear enter his body. He had it, long ago, and even to this day he could remember the sickening feeling he felt that fear brought. Beck had been lazily looking around, but his sharp brown eyes caught movement and he turned his head in time to be face to face with a snarling wolf. Ah, the beauty in it was almost magical. He looked up into her cold, dead eyes and felt a smile tug at his lips. Both tones in her voice stood out, and he wondered just for a second if she truly wanted to be such a person. Pushing those thoughts away, he watched her step back and slip into her human form. So casual, and so easy. Before hand she had been a snarling monster, now she was a cold looking human. “Caedesque could use my strength, my willingingness to be loyal and apart of a pack for the rest of one’s life. I have always been feared for my size, and rough attitude, seeing as you come and not someon else gives me the idea that you are untrustworthy, which is why I am here. To earn your trust...Alphess Noctavia.” He said, his voice thick and strong. While speaking he took a stand, his barefeet sinking into the grass below. He stood tall, his jaw tight and his arms now at his sides.

I wouldn't want you to be waiting any longer on me! Times are getting tough on my end as well, dear.
Go right ahead and change your name to Warrior Galon while I change your color. I'm sorry I couldn't reply to this! Noctavia tolerates him for now. (;
